Hi,
looks like somebody has produced a file manually, I dont think Informix
does this alone.
Maybe somebody did "onstat -a > onstat.out" or similar.

Most likely it was created manually by someone running "onstat -o
onstat.out". Is it approximately the size of the shared memory that is
reported at the top right of the onstat status line?

Hi, Thanks for such a quick response. Yes it is almost the same size. Thanks
Sometimes this happens when you run onstat -i (interactive mode) and you
type "o" by mistake.
The size should the size of the shared memory unless you interrupt the
option before;in which case it will be smaller.
Just go ahead an remove the file. No problem.
