IFMX backup on NT

Have any of you had success doing a backup of logical log files on NT 4.0? I can use my backup drive (a Colorado) with NT Backup, but not Informix' backup app. I receive the error message that my drive does not support the needed block size. I have adjusted the block size in the appropriate Informix configuration file to 4, 8, 16 and 512K (512K being the apparent "block" size of the drive as specified in the drive's manual). I would be grateful for the benefit of your experience, if you know the trick to making this work. Thanks, Daniel
