hi everybody,
We're using IUS 9.14.UC4 on solaris 2.6 sparc.
We're faced to a problem: Our logical files grow too fast.
As there 's a lot of bases on this server accessed through Internet, so we'd
like to find out which base got the most of transaction.
But we can't find enough information on informix Administrator's guide.
using the command:
onlog -d /var/tmp/informix/ltapedev -u webdb | morehere is our display's sample:
addr len type xid id link
1018 40 BEGIN 21 224 0 08/19/99 14:45:34 61064

I presume type is the type of transaction, xid is the transaction's id, id
is the user 's id.
link give us the date and the timestamp. So what does it mean addr, len and
the other informations below link?
How can we know which base the transaction is attached?
thanks for your answer.
georges
i apologize: i found a lot of information on the book.
Nevertheless i'm trying to find out the base with the tblspace ID.
is it possible?
