RFD "Suggest we revise our charter..."
Posted in 1997
Hi guys, Looks like I might be in for a few days this year. (If all goes well.) While I don't always like to see Informix job postings, I can understand their usefulness not only to job seekers, but to the group as a whole. What I don't like is that there seem to be a tonne (ton) of morons posting all sort of things, like AS400 and RPG positions, or just spamming us to visit their job posting site. (Like once a week or so...) Of course there is the everyday common, "Cum visit our SEX SITE" spam and the "U 2 can make millions on the net" spams. What I am asking, is that we consider reviewing and possibly re-writing our charter which would specifically state what is proper to post here and what is not proper to post here. This is the official way for us to determine the future of this group and give us a better position when dealing with these spammers. -We now return you back to your regular program. -Mikey -- #include <std_disclaimer.h> /* Mike Segel (MS385) */ #include <No_Spam.h> #ifdef OFFENDED_BY_CONTENT The author takes no responsibility for this post. Any resemblence to a coherent rational thought is purely coincidence. -The Management. #endif ***************************** Due to AGIS's Refusal to Act Responsibly We are blocking all of their domains at the packet level.
