Re: Question

I have been working on a program for some time now (now in alpha release) which does exactly this (and a bit more) It connects from a dos box (running winsock) to a unix machine and with a program at the remote end - send data directly to the PC. No floppies, no cr/lf problems, any database (or unix command for that matter) and places it onto a grid which can then be pasted into excel, lotus, Word etc. (Also does text - ie no grid.) You can also configure it to save to an access database (it'll create the database and the table if required). Like I say - its still alpha - but if you'd like to be a beta tester - let me know. -- Mike Aubury _\\?/_ |O O| +----------oOOO-\\_/-OOOo---------+---------------------------- -+ | Heisenberg may have been here | mike@aubury.demon.co.uk | +--------------------------------+---------------------------- -+
