Informix I-NET 5.01 and IQ & Winsock !

We have installed IQ Report Writer for Windows V.4 and V.5 on a DOS client running WFW (Microsoft TCP/IP Winsock). We also installed Informix I-NET V.5.01 for DOS. The problem we are having is a GPF in the IQWIN application, specifically the ISQLI501.DLL, (or so it tells us). We are talking to the Unix back end so any replies about checking /etc/hosts and /etc/services, please spare us. The log file from the Unix sqlexecd process is filling up with the users requests, and an Informix sqlturbo process is being fired up by the client request. However, as soon as it talks to the database, the application falls on its arse. We have tried two versions of IQ, three Unix/Informix, server combinations, one Informix I-NET version (methinks...)
