Hello , In case of Informix there is no concept of dummy table as that in oracle But , still one may be interested in this way than it requires to have an exsiting table. query = select CURRENT/TODAY FROM <table name> But be sure that table must have only one row otherwise it may result in in multiple o/p. in such case supply necessary where condition so that it will result in only single row o/p. Thanks In Advance. With Regards , [ ALPESH SHAH ] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Email I.
