Re: R4GL V C4GL

From Paul Eccleston: * * 2. One program uses the thru command to pass specific fields in a record * to a report section. The program again compiles and runs ok under * C4GL, but in R4GL I get a compile error saying 'this report has already * been called with a different number of parameters'. How are you compiling in C4GL and it passes? I tried this: define pr_rec record f1 char(10), f2 char(10), f3 char(10), f4 char(10), f5 char(10), f6 char(10), f7 char(10), f8 char(10), f9 char(10), f10 char(10) end record main call do_it( pr_rec.f1 thru pr_rec.f3 ) call do_it( pr_rec.f1 thru pr_rec.f9 ) And got this: | | The function "do_it" has already been called with a different | number of parameters. | See error number -4333. Unless you're compiling with the '-z' option, which is valid in R4GL, also.
