A copy of dbdiff2 can be found in the Informix section of the FTP archives at mathcs.emory.edu and quasar.ucar.edu (and possibly elsewhere). The version at mathcs is Revision 1.2 94/05/30 16:05:31, plus a small two-line "patch" that must be applied with manual editing. I've used dbdiff2, and it works pretty well - good job, guys! It has the handy feature of allowing you to split the comparison process into two phases. That way, you can compare two databases as part of a migration project in a non-client-server environment. If memory serves, dbdiff2 will not handle some of the newer or more esoteric features of Informix, but we had no problems here. We run SE under SunOS.
