I have a suggestions that you might be able to do for us. Why don't you write a book (a big one) that really mix business vision and UDO technology that will unveil the true benefits of these technology to a wider range of people? I know this will take a period of time to develop, so in the meantime I think you might be able to invite other people (researchers and particioner) to post their contributions to IDN. As, I'm doing research in the area of Spatial-Temporal Databases, I came across two interesting projects that do a lot of research in this subject. The first is the TimeCenter=A0 http://www.cs.auc.dk/research/DBS/tdb/TimeCenter/index.html and the second one is=A0 http://www.dbnet.ece.ntua.gr/~choros/ I found out that one of the first project's research papers is "TR-29:=A0=A0 R. Bliujute, S. Saltenis, G. Slivinskas, and C. S. Jensen, Developing a DataBlade for a New Index" which actually uses Informix Dynamic Server with Universal Data Option to implement their GR-tree index "TR-25:=A0 R. Bliujute, C. S. Jensen, S. Saltenis, and G. Slivinskas, R-tree Based Indexing of Now-Relative =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0 Bitemporal Data" I have read both papers and I think they constitute good material for IDN. I wonder if it would be possible for you to approach these people to publish their experience at IDN so that others can benefit from it (may be with a little extra explanations from your side) I hope that this might inject more implementable ideas for IDN. =A0 Thanks and best Regards, =A0 Amgad Al-Sisi --------------F31EBA43BB54E3721A07A28C--
