I've posted about this message in the past with little success. It's
something that seems to happen occasionally when access is made through odbc
but that is about as much as anybody knows. But why worry? The error only
indicates a possible security problem.
Then on the other hand I get a similar message from my ISP about invalid
passwords, and I don't think they use Informix, and they tell me it has
nothing to do with an incorrect password. So what causes it? Their latest
guess was that my firewall is doing it, so I should turn off my firewall and
see if it recurred. Now that guy seems eminently qualified to join another
support organisation I know of. IYKWIM.
