Remember the difference between "it's possible", "it exists", and "it's for sale." Be careful how you treat your contacts that work for Informix, and remember that frogs at the bottom of the well see only part of the sky. Informix is very supportive of its engineers spending their time and proprietary knowledge on things like this group. > So, as much as I would like to check it out, I have not been given the > opportunity - does anyone else know if the project is still going > ahead? Based on the results of the end-user tests the doc team will make some changes and the final product will be announced sometime after that. As one of the testers, I can't divulge too much, but my initial impression is pretty favorable. My copy looks just like the paper manuals, except on-screen. That has been both good and bad... ;) Hopefully we'll see more soon on the even-newer-and-more-improved version of the CD documentation set. __________________________________________________________________ | Clem Akins Standard Disclaimers Apply | |Reynolds Metals Co, Alloys Plant "Climb High, Cave Deep!" | | Muscle Shoals, Alabama USA cwakins@leia.alloys.rmc.com | |________________________________________________________________|
