Tom, you need to map your LUN's on ESS to two (or more?) hosts, but after reading the following redbook http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg246424.html it's hard to tell if it can be done in your case, using Fiber Channel SAN connection. Chapter 4.30.4 explicitly states it's possible with SCSI interface (at the expense of performance though), but chapter 4.31 doesn't go much beyond configuring LUN's only for one host.
