Re: Fragmentation and Extent Size

yuck - that's pretty peculiar behavior. So I have to go reduce the extent sizes after i import from version 5.05. Seems like ALTER FRAGMENT could figure out how big the current table is and divide it by the number of target fragments. Is this also necessary for indexes as well (it looks like it)?? I don't see any way to control extents for indexes. on future exports and imports, both on V7, will fragged tables get imported into reasonable extents by fragment? this could be a real pain to have to futz with every time...
