Set Role with crystal report

Hi All, We have a large no. of users who uses crystal report to connect to Informix Database via Informix ODBC 3.32. Is there any way to use "SET ROLE <ROLE-NAME> within Crystal Report. The reason for this is that I can setup a database role for crystal users and then only specified users can have access to specified tables via crystal. I have tried Openlink ODBC driver as well which has got a feature to run initial SQL once connection is established, BUT unfortunately "Set Role" does not seems to be working with this driver.
