Hi,
It is not wise to upgrade to a new service pack until the software you are
executing
on the machine gives the OK. I was talking with Informix support last week
and
they went out of their way to tell me not to upgrade to SP 4 until they have
tested it.
Go back to SP 3 and you should be fine. Visual Studio 6.0 with Service Pack
1
should not effect Informix.
My 2 cents.
