ROM 2.1 SQL Editor and other tools don't work on my NT 4.0 system

Really strange situation. I've installed the Client SDK and ROM 2.1 on Windows NT. But the ROM components do not work. I get Dr. Watson "core dumps". In fact they continue to not work after un-installing things from the Client SDK. I'm attempting to just get them working at this point without crashing, much less getting them to connect to a UNIX System. Any advice would be appreciated.
