sqlexecd

We are trying to run sqlexecd and we get the error message 25507. It means that there is an error with the servicename and the protocol which is specified. We are working with SE 7.21 and NFS and started the demon with: sqlexecd saturn_se in the $INFORMIXDIR/LIB directory. We set the following entry in the /etc/services file: informixse 4072/tcp the servicename matches the entry in the sqlhosts file: saturn_se sesoctcp polaris informixse An entry for the host computer exists in the /etc/hosts file. We are using NFS mounted directories. How can we solve the problem? And how can we start sqlexecd without errors in an NFS mounted (or not) directory?
