Problem with Data Access from Visual Basic 6 to Informix 7.30

Hello, I have a problem accessing Data from an Windows NT4 Workstation with Visual Basic 6.0 to an Informix Database on an HP 9000 System. There is no Problem to read and delete Data from the Database, but I can only write Integer values to it. If I try to write characters or date (hour to minute ) always an error occurs. I access the Database via ADO 2.1 as Dynaset via Merant 3.50 ODBC Driver. Has anyone done the same Task? Thanks for answering Thorsten Sandow

Most probably, the client and the server do not agree on the decimal point and the date format. Make sure your Windows regional settings match your server settings and try again.
