Dbload is about the same as the DBACCESS LOAD command and faster than the LOAD library command in 4GL. The main advantage of dbload is that it commits every N rows and logs errors, optionally without stopping. With dbload you will use fewer locks and less logspace avoiding long transaction rollbacks.
