Informx Session Id limit

Hi All We are running informix 9.21 on solaris, and have small database with 1.2GB. I observed the sessions id 260009 and keeps increasing, we had shutdown database last few days ago, but session id has been reverted back . As i am new to informix, any of u clarify my queries 1. What is the starting val of sessionid will it always starts with 4 digit 2. How big it can grow? 3. How to bring it to smaller value? 4. Is there any pblm if it keeps growing ? Very, if the system is busy and you are connect and disconnecting alot. Every new connection to the db will get a new value, one higher than the last one used. > 3. How to bring it to smaller value?
