Re: Installing IDS 7.30.UC7-1
Posted in 2001
In the release notes it states:
Portable Streams Environment (PSE) can be loaded using
/usr/sbin/strload command and Asynchronous IO (AIO) device can
be enabled (loaded) using either the 'smit' interface or using
the command /usr/sbin/mkdev -l aio0. For further information
consult AIX documentation.
Yep, do the mkdev and head into smit and make this a permanent change,
or put it in the inittab like we did.
