Mheanwhile I found out this: IFX_FLAT_UCSQ was introduced in 7.31.UC1 and 7.30.UC5 to fix bug 94373. This bug states that some uncorrelated subqueries can run slow if flattened by the optimizer. Since then you have to set the variable to get uncorrelated subqueries flattened. But I still have no repro for that. Michael Michael Mueller wrote: > Thanks John.
