Blocked Check point

I am running informix 11.70.FC5 on AIX 6.1 and am experiencing a blocked checkpoint There are plenty of logs available and the current log file is not full. We do not have transaction loggin switched on for the database and so there is no long transactions Nothing out of the ordinary in the message log. I restarted the database which cleared the issue for a short while. I would appreciate any pointers as to where I need to start looking for issues. The blocked checkpoint is one probably raised by a standard interval based check point (every 5 minutes)
You need to collect some data and open a PMR with IBM.
onstat -a should allow some investigation...Most probably there is some deadlock between threads.
onstat -g conwill show the conditions (and waiters) and there should be some relevant
info there.
onstat -umay show a thread in a critical section (can hold a checkpoint). Flag "X"
onstat -g stk allwill show the stack traces of all tr threads.
a dump of the shared memory would allow these commands to be run later.
In principle this should be a bug...
