Or am I consigned to using cooked spaces? No, the largest CHUNK you can create is 2GB a dbspace can have as many chunks as you need. Also chunks must be mapped onto the first 2GB of a logical drive so you will have to partition your drives or RAID arrays into 2GB logical partitions to use larger devices.
