We will be going from 5.03 ONLINE to 7.21 ONLINE and also from SUNOS 4.1.3 to SUN SOLARIS 2.5. Basically we were going to Install the 7.21 release, lay out the root/Log logs/Phy. logs etc then get the 5.03 database dbschema's, unload the load it to the 7.21 release, using * tbunload and onload or * dbexport and dbimport or can we use tbunload with HPL (parallel loader)? Has anybody used HPL successfully from one Informix Online to another? What other methods have you guys used to go from 5.x to 7.x robin cyrus Sr. informix DBA Promark 1 inc Scottsdale AZ -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet
