I believe there is now with 8.4, 9.4 may have done the same thing - it's
been a while since I checked - in other words I don't know for sure.

put all your queries in a file (include the set explain on if you like) and
then:
dbaccess <database> file

Use vi instead of dbaccess, you can still run them.
