I don't know what is really happening when I execute compiled code. We just have experienced the same symptoms, with the same behavior, and the same work-around for many years. But, it's not like we're doing export/imports all that often. But, this time it was embarassing because I was working in close proximity to a contractor and he wondered about the difficultiy. I had to try to explain/justify this aberrent behavior, but, of course, I couldn't. DG
