This statement by Informix is, to my knowledge, completely false. I have never heard of SCO paying hard earned cash for a software port. The plain reality is that we really can't afford to do that and we don't have to do that. SCO is a first tier port for almost all the databases. I believe that we are very high up on the Informix license share graph, so it behooves Informix to provide new and current ports to SCO software releases quickly and promptly. That said, Informix is going to port their software to the current SCO release. I believe that OpenServer Release 5 is a very stable and reliable product today. In fact, I believe that it is more robust and offers more functionality that Version 4.2. Take the plunge. -- Jim Sullivan SCO Canada, Inc.
