Re: Informix OL v7.2x on NT

Hi. I suspect the problem can regard to TCP routing. Check the routing tables via "route print" . Maybe some proxy server perform wrong route if you have enabled the Proxy client. (but generally this problem is doubtful). Try also connect to NT Server via FTP protocol, perhaps the problem belongs to NT only. Another thing. Try connect to OWS via ODBC (Ilogin 32 demo) to assure the same result as with any ROM utility. If delay persists then tune the NETTYPE parameter: add more one network virtual processor (more one server alias and NETTYPE parameter); set only one poll thread per network virtual processor on OWS ; decrease the number of concurrent connections per one thread. Assure that you're rationally using the shared memory and the SHMBASE is 0xc000000L. Reagards, Taras. P.S. If it couldn't help you can finally reinstall the Informix-Connect or even whole Server ( on NT it's simply and sometimes gives results).
