Re: informix tape content

Thanks all for your help. I asked about this because I read that you can define the same tape as lo= g archive device and database archive device. They said just make sure that you set the size in such a way that will let the tape hold both archives.= So I dont know how does the engine manage it. Is it once I stop the continuo= us backup and start the level-0 backup, it will continue writing on the tape without erasing the content of the log backup!!?
