help to conver I4GL to Visual C++

Hi All, We are planning to use VISUAL C++ as a front end tool for Informix online engine. Basiclly, we need to replace our i4gl forms and codes into visual c++. For example, how do we do before field, after field, and other validations in Visual c++. Colud some one help me to find out a good book which helps me to do database applications using Visual c++. Is any user group (like this one) out there for Visual C++ or a web site to get some help?. Thanks in advance. //ramki
