It simply didn't help. Here's why: I tried the commands you suggested, they responded quite quickly. There's also one part of our application that select's & transmits BLOBS across the network as you do, but that's the one part of the application that DOES perform well. We too use the "native" PB driver, no ODBC. Plain 'ol character result sets still drag across the net though, the problem I still maintain is somewhere in PB, Inet or Online engine communication protocol. We'll be sniffing the link in great detail in a couple of weeks, hopefully that will clear up the mystery. Believe me, we're very serious about solving this problem. Thank for trying though...gm p.s. if you've had specific problems unique to FDDI, i'd be interested in the specifics...
