Tbzero will locate the last checkpoint entry in the log and modify the value for number of active transactions to 0. This has the effect of tricking tbinit into thinking there are no transactions to rollforward, so the logical recovery is essentially skipped. Since tbinit is unable to locate a checkpoint record in Richard's online system, there is no identifiable checkpoint record for tbzero to fix. However, calling tech support in this case is not the worst idea. Dave Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in this message are not those of Informix Software, its partners or lackeys.
