Rejected sqlexec calls

What is the meaning/significance on sqlexec calls being rejected. I
see no other messages in the logs. Example of onstat -g ntd below:

Totals 1027 174 5179 5028
Although I'm not totally sure, I have a good notion that it's due to
rejects by the DB server due to invalid user ID and/or password -
usually stemming from client/server connections. Do you have entires
in you log file that look like this?
16:13:31 listener-thread: err = -952: oserr = 0: errstr = : User'spassword is not correct for the database server.
If so I'd say that's why - not to be alarmed (neccessarily).
Let me know if I'm wrong.
