Is there limit for host name length?

Hi, everybody, I use: Informix Online 5.01.UD3 under SCO UNIX 3.2v4.2 Informix STAR TCP/IP 5.01.UD3 Informix NetPC 4.10.DD6 via TCP/IP (remsql) FTP PC/TCP 3.0 domainname: intek.spb.su TCP/IP and Novell IPX/SPX are on the same cable Client can connect to database server only if hostname of client is 6 or less character length. Who can tell me why? Any help would be appreciated Leonid
