How to post a query

Dear all, Along with most of you, I frequently experience frustration in trying to help people with queries due to the vagueness of the information supplied. Often problems can be quite port-specific. I was wondering if it might not be useful to have a standard form we could send people to fill in which could help the accuracy and value of our responses.
