datetime problem continued..:-( :-(

I posted before about how I was having problems declaring datetime vars
in an ACE report. Now, I've solved that problem but when I run the report
I get a segmentation fault and the system dumps the core. I'm including
the report which produces this error on a RISC6000 320h system w/ AIX 3.2
running IFORMIX SQL 4.0 w/ INFORMIX-SE 5.0.
---------------------------------
database junk end
define variable intime datetime hour to minute end
input prompt for intime using "give intime :" end
output report to "outfile" end
select X, Y from table1 where table1.X = $intime end
format on every row print X, Y end
---------------------------
it compiles ok, I put in the value of intime in a format 00:00 (ie; ##:##)
and it just gives me a message "segmentation fault core dumped" and exits.
outfile is created but is of 0 length.
Can somebody help me w/ this please? I have to port our database from our
old machine to this new one before May 1st. I would really appreciate it
if someone can give me some pointers or even reproduce it on their system
ANY kind of help would be greatly appreciated
