Informix 4GL for DOS help

I have been having problems with the compiled version of 4GL for DOS. (My client is requiring the use of this package.) I am getting an error -208 (Memory allocation failed during query processing) at different places in my program. It is not very consistent. I even get them occasionally on a "CLOSE DATABASE" statement. Is there anyone you know who may be able to help me with this one.
