convert interval to decimal

I need to do some simple arithmetic using a field defined as INTERVAL in the instructions section of a form specification. The INTERVAL field contains hours and minutes. I need to convert this to minutes or hours so that I can multiply it by a field defined as MONEY. Can anyone tell me how this is done (within a form specification)? Daryl Jones daryl@tcomeng.com
