getopt from iiug ftp site dosen't work

Hi!
I'm running:
$ c4gl -VINFORMIX-4GL Version 7.30.UC5
Software Serial Number XXX#XXXXXX
on HPUX 10.20.
I downloaded ftp.iiug.org/pub/informix/pub/getopt.gz. I uncommented so
I had the main function. Then I tried to compile, but c4gl complains
about instring.
The result:
$ c4gl getopt.4gl(Bundled) cc: warning 480: The +z option is available only with the
C/ANSI C product; ignored.
/usr/ccs/bin/ld: Unsatisfied symbols:
instring (code)
Where is "instring" and how can I solve this?
Can I use something different than getopt?
Best Regards,

Do a google search in comp.databases.informix in
http://groups.google.com/groups?q=instring+group:comp.databases.informix&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&group=comp.databases.informix&safe=off&selm=3th381%24oj1%40cssun.mathcs.emory.edu&rnum=1
Looks like it might fix your problem . . . .

You're using bundled compiler that came with your system. This is NOT a full
version of C language compiler - it doesn't comply with ANSI standard. You
have to either:
a) buy full C language compiler product or
b) use gnu C compiler to do the compilation
