Tested using IDS 9.40.UC5 on Linux 32 bit Intel.
This fails as written above with the same error as you get. The
following works:
CREATE TABLE t1 ( f NVARCHAR( 10 ) );
CREATE TABLE t2 ( f NVARCHAR( 10 ) NOT NULL );
CREATE PROCEDURE p( p NVARCHAR( 10 ) ) END PROCEDURE;EXECUTE PROCEDURE p( ( SELECT f FROM t2 ) );
So I suggest IDS cannot find the procedure because your data types (CHAR
and NVARCHAR) do not match.
