multi line field in a multi record form

I was working on some .per files for a 4gl and I came across a problem. Could someone tell me if this can be done, without special coding in the 4gl? I have a form that displays multiple records, the form was working fine until I altered a description field in the database to 120 characters. When I modified the form to display the description field across two 60 character fields, the form would not compile using form4gl anymore:^( I got the error 2040(?), I believe, the screen record definition and the field definitions do not match. I tried several alterations, but to no avail. I could compile the form displaying 1 record but not 2. I have to make this change in about 70 different programs, so I want the change to be as easy as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
