Does anyone have a recommendation for an Informix trainer/training company in the NY/NJ area? In my experience good or excellent would be a trainer with lots of experience, possibly also a current consultant in the field. TIA!

Have you contacted the Informix NY office? They're not cheap but they are generally very good. Informix will be happy to set up onsite training at day rates and customize the classes for you (like mornings only so you can still get some work done). I've always had good experiences this way. I worked for Informix for 10 years as a consultant, ATG member, SE, Trainer, Training Developer, etc. before coming to work for SDG (got tired of the big company bullshit). When I am not delivering training, I'm doing consulting and project management, mostly on Informix topics (I also do linux and Unix sysadmin stuff as well). Feel free to send me email, or check our web site at www.summitdata.com. We have a regular schedule of classes (sign up for these through Informix) or can provide on-site and custom classes as you need. Toot-toot goes my horn ;-) Dave Kosenko
