Neil, Are You using TCP or SHM connection to connect iSpy to IDS? If You are using SHM, then try to switch to TCP. It is not possible to connect 32-bit application (iSpy) to 64-bit engine with SHM connection. No wonder, You are able to connect to 32-bit 9.40uc4 -Alexey > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-informix-list@iiug.org [mailto:owner-informix-list@iiug.org] On > Behalf Of Neil Truby > Sent: Friday, March 25, 2005 12:46 PM > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: Re: I-SPY woe > > "Link, David A." <DALink@west.com> wrote in message > news:1111732764.145614c1a201fd0199e49d7b7e679be9@teranews... > > > > Neil, > > > > I think you are encountering the same problem we are. Even so, I got a "Connection type invalid" message when trying to use a shared memory connection, so I used tcp/ip. As you'll see from further up the thread, there is a known bug that makes I-SPY unusable with 9.40 xC5 and above.
