RE: Backup in NT

You can run this options from a bat file:
To start Informix:
net start online /yes
net start "INFORMIX-OnLine Server Agent" /yes
(The last one is the name of the service)
To stop informix:
net stop online /yes
net stop "INFORMIX-OnLine Server Agent" /yes
This run OK with NT 4.0 Server and Informix 7.22
Regards.

Subject: Backup in NT
Hello all I have a little doubt. I would like to make a complete backup =
of
some hard disk in NT using a 3rd-part software, so I would like to be =
able
to
stop & start informix with a command file.
I think this is possible, at last in UNIX it is possible ( oninit, =
onmode
-ky... ), but in NT oninit is not working and all the information I have =
is
about
stoping and starting trough the services manager.
I would like to know do's & don't of doing such backup, if I can start =
&
stop
informix.
Thanks
