Informix ODBC Driver

I installed Informix Client SDK 2.30 tc 1.1 in my Win NT 4.0 environment hoping that I will be able to access an Informix SE database residing on an Linux machine in the same TCP/IP net. I set up a System DSN with the necessary data, however, when i click on the "Test connection" button following Informix CLI Error message appears: Test connection was NOT successful. [Informix][Informix ODBC Driver][Informix]Internal communications buffer management error detected. I have following setup: Database Server: - Slackware Linux 2.0.35 - INFORMIX-SE 7.24.UC5 for Linux - informix 4gl 7.20 ud7 for Linux - informix sql 7.20 ud7 for Linux - sqlhosts: gambit_se seipcpip gambit.cui.edu.co sqlexec Client Host: - Win Nt 4.0 Server - Informix Client SDK 2.30 tc 1.1, with - Informix ODBC Driver, version 3.3, System-DSN settings: Serve Name: gambit_se Host Name: gambit.cui.edu.co Service: sqlexec Protocol: seipcpip Options: ...
