All the others you should set to work with your local configuration. I normally don't need them. Also, make sure that your service name matches an entry in the local services file and is set to the correct port number. Also of particular importance is having INFORMIXDIR/bin in your path on the local machine. If you are using the latest 2.30 SDK, configuration test buttons are available in setnet32 and also their is a dbping program in the SDK bin directory that is helpful. ------------ David M. David, hope you get this message, thanks for the reply, I've been having a problem with my driver when I try to define a user data source for the informix driver, I get the message The setup routines for the INTERSOLV 3.01 32 bit INFORMIX ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 1157 Drivers ConfigDSN, ConfigDriver or Configtranslator failed Could not load the set up or translator library However, I tried this on another machine, and it was ok. Thanks again. * Sent from AltaVista http://www.altavista.com Where you can also find related Web Pages, Images, Audios, Videos, News, and Shopping. Smart is Beautiful
