onbar problem

Hello all, I am using onbar on IDS 7.31 on HP-UX 11.0 and Veritas Netbackup. The onbar was configured by the System Admin. Now I am testing backups and restores in my test instance that I have setup and noticed that every time I run a backup, it seems to complete fine. I see no errors in the bar_act.log and online.log files, but a core dump is created. Does anybody know why a core dump is created ? or where I may find an error message ?
