IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.UC9 Software Serial Number AAA#B00000 is there are table where index names are kept. in the sysmaster db or anywjhere else
Index details are kept in the sysindices catalog table in each database. There is also a view (sysindexes) which is easier to parse for simple indexes (ie not functional indexes). The index name is in the idxname column. For full details of decoding sysindices directly take at look at the file print_indexes.ec in the source code for myschema which is part of my package utils2_ak from the IIUG Software Repository.
